I hope y’all have been brewing and drinking great home-brew. If not this is the blog post for you. Why aren’t you brewing your own beer? There are always a ton of different reasons (or shall we say, excuses) to not do whatever it is you want to do.
Hope deferred
It stinks when we don’t accomplish something that we want to. As it has been said “hope deferred makes the heart sick”. It is even worse though when we are the ones that have stopped ourselves from accomplishing our goal. See, we can so easily talk ourselves out of things we really may enjoy. It’s like the story of chicken little. We can take a small thing and turn it into something huge which in the end damages our goals.
Don’t let this happen to your brewing journey.

Don’t be a Chicken Little
Chicken little, after being hit on the head with a mere acorn, thought and believed the sky was falling. She not only convinced herself of this but her friends as well. Having fully convinced her friends, they were then taken advantage of by the all too cunning fox and met their demise.
This can happen to your goal of brewing your own beer. There are plenty of reasons to convince yourself not to brew your own beer. Wether it’s time, money, the effort, uncertainties, etc., these things can convince you that brewing your own beer is just not worth it.
If you have ever wanted to brew your own beer at home, then don’t listen to any doubt or negativity that may come your way.
Don’t be a Chicken Little and blow small things out of proportion.
